High Pressure Cleaner Maintenance Guide
Troubleshooting Guide for Insufficient Pressure in High-Pressure Equipment
1. Abnormal Water Intake System (Most Common Cause)
Disruptions in the water intake system are a frequent trigger for insufficient pressure. Prolonged use of the inlet filter allows dirt and debris to accumulate, clogging the strainer. Meanwhile, air entering the pipeline can cause unstable water flow and inadequate supply, directly reducing the equipment's operating pressure. Users can address this by removing the inlet strainer, rinsing it with clean water to clear away contaminants, bleeding trapped air from both the pipeline and the filter housing, and inspecting the inlet hose for kinks or damage to ensure smooth water delivery.
2. Component Wear and Improper Adjustment
Worn parts and incorrect adjustments can also lead to pressure issues. Extended operation can wear down high-pressure nozzles, enlarging their orifice diameter and consequently lowering the output pressure. Misadjusted pressure regulating valves and relief valves, or aged components, may cause abnormal bypass leakage, preventing the system from building up working pressure. To resolve these problems, replace worn nozzles with new ones as needed, recalibrate the regulator valve to the correct setting, and promptly replace any aged valve components to restore the equipment's pressure regulation performance.
3. Pump Seal Failures
Seal failures within the pump body can likewise result in pressure loss. After long-term use, wear-prone parts such as pump head water seals, check valves, and sealing gaskets may degrade, develop leaks, and cause internal pressure bypass. Users can disassemble the pump head to inspect the sealing assemblies, replace damaged water seals and gaskets, clean debris from the check valve, and then reassemble and recalibrate the system to restore normal pressure.
Maintenance Reminder
Operators are advised to regularly clean the filter, inspect the condition of all components, and avoid running the pump dry or using contaminated water. These routine practices can effectively reduce pressure-related failures and extend the service life of the equipment.
